This is the best way to know the Lencois Maranhenses, but it is only a suggestion:
CRISTAL
1º day - JERI / DELTA DO PARNAÍBA by 4x4. Departing following the tide going through Mangue Seco, Guriú, the old Tatajuba until Camocim where you will cross the Coreaú River. Tour through Luis Correa and Atalaia beach. Located 130 from Camocim, Delta do Parnaiba spreads between the states of Maranhão and Piaui form a natural set of almost 80 rich islands in biodiversity. After lunch you will cross, by boat, the channels of the Delta to appreciate the rich fauna and flora.
2º day - DELTA / CABURÉ/Barreirinhas by 4x4 - We will know Rio Novo, the protect area of Paulino Neves. Go from Caburé to Barrerinha by boat visiting the Mandacaru lighthouse, with a 360º degrees view of unmatched landscape from Mandacaru, Atins and Pequenos lençois. Stop in Vassouras where it will be able to see monkeys (Macacos Prego). Night in Barreirinha.
3º day - BARREIRINHAS - tour to the National Park of Lencois Maranhenses by Toyota 4x4 going through Blue Lagoon between dunes and lagoon with crystal water. Small trekking to Fish Lagoon. Transfer to São Luis.

4º day - BARREIRINHAS - Overflight and transfer in a single flight from Barreirinhas to San Luis. THIS OVERFLIGHT SERVICE RUNS DURING THE MORNING ON MONDAY, WEDNESDAY AND FRIDEY, BEING OUT OF THESES DAYS WILL BE DONE A TRANSFER IN PRIVATE CAR.
